Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones. Born September 3, 1976. Ashley Aubra Jones has been an American actress for over twenty years. She is best known for her roles as Megan Dennison, on The Young and the Restless as well as Bridget Forrester, on The Bold and the Beautiful. In addition, she was Daphne in the HBO show True Blood in its second season. Ashley Jones graduated in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in Human Learning K-8 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She began her professional career as teacher in Maury County where she taught Kindergarten and first graders Reading. Brent Jones was her UT Martin crush. The couple moved from there to Thompsons Station. She started her career as a teacher with Bethesda Elementary, where she taught the 4th grade. In 1999 and 2000, Ashley continued to teach after she received her Master in Teaching at Trevecca Nazarene University. However, in 2000 they welcomed Baylor. Ashley has been spending the past fifteen years working on the growth of children in her home congregation as well as in her community. She has also served in various roles. Ashley has worked as teacher and director at Thompson Station's Preschool as well as Students Ministry for the past 13 years. While Ashley was home with her children they spent three years in homeschooling. Ashley as well as her kids taught history to kindergarteners and first graders at a homeschool tutorial. God told her that, although she loved the homeschooling experience and being in the presence of children, her family required a return to school full time.
